The Tweed Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) was established by the Tweed Shire Council to give leadership and direction to the development of a future sustainable Tweed economy. The TEDC is funded in the main by the Tweed Shire Council, but also has a substantial and growing membership base that is a vital factor in helping TEDC achieve its outcomes.
Membership of the TEDC demonstrates to governments, Local, State and Federal, a level of community support for activities undertaken by the corporation in the interest of developing a sustainable economy for the Tweed community.
Membership also allows the opportunity for individual businesses and companies to have an input into policy direction through various committees and meetings.
