Economic Profiles

Economic Profiles

TEDC has produced Economic Profiles for the three major business centres of the Tweed; Tweed Heads Trade Area, Murwillumbah Trade Area and Tweed Coast Trade Area, with all information based on the latest (2006) census data. These profiles offer a comprehensive analysis of economic and business data for each area. Statistics throughout the profiles are benchmarked where possible against the broader Tweed Shire and New South Wales.

TEDC aims to provide accurate economic data to be used by government and business organisations for planning and decision making purposes as well as promoting the region as a dynamic business and investment destination.
