www.TourismROI.com is a brand new global website launched last year by Richard Miller, former Executive Vice President of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). The TourismROI website has been endorsed by a number of industry bodies including the UN World Tourism Organisation and the Pacific Asia Travel Association.
The TEDC was the first Australian entity invited to participate in promoting the tourism industry opportunities at this global level, in recognition of the TEDC approach to sustainable economic development.
The TourismROI site is designed as an ‘information bank’ which allows destinations to load every single item of information relevant to tourism on to the site providing ready access to savvy investors. The site provides scope for the TEDC to upload seventy eight different categories of business, business contact and investment-related items of information on to the site. The objectives of both organisations are similar, which has led to the collaborative approach between TEDC and Tourism ROI in jointly promoting and attracting, job creating investment growth and economic development opportunities to our region, by providing information of interest to potential investors.
