National Award for Innovation in Economic Excellence
In 2005 the TEDC was awarded the Inaugural National Award for Innovation in Economic Development Excellence by our peers for the development of the Tweed and Northern Rivers Economic Modelling Tool.
National Award for Promotion - Business Attraction
The Seamless Borders project has won the Promotion Business Attraction category at the 2007 national EDA conference in Sydney.
Northern Rivers Urban Design Awards
The Tweed Heads Ministerial Task force was the receipient of the Merit Award for the Community/Government category for the development of the Tweed Heads Masterplan (an initiative of the Tweed Economic Development Corporation).
